Gene C. Lange, managing partner of Luman, Lange, Thomas & McMullen, LLP, has been in private law practice in the District of Columbia since 1972. His practice covers a wide range of administrative and commercial law, including antitrust, for retail and wholesale businesses, trade associations, and charitable organizations. Much of his practice is counseling the management of businesses and associations and participating in contract negotiations. The subjects range from executive compensation plans to commercial leases to organizing new companies. He also has expertise in immigration law, with a strong emphasis on business-related immigration cases.
The administrative law side of Mr. Lange’s practice covers immigration, IRS representation, government contract appeals, and trials before administrative law judges. One of his major cases involved ten years of litigation against the U.S. Department of Education in a case which included two administrative hearings and two separate appeals to the U.S. Court of Appeals.
Mr. Lange has earned the AV rating from the Martindale-Hubbell Law Directory. This represents recognition by his peers that Mr. Lange conducts his practice with the highest integrity and his service is of superior quality.
